Day to day responsibilities for the Senior Account Manager include:

  • Day-to-day team management – coaching and development as well as delegation
  • Day-to-day Account Management – ensuring work is delivered to an exceptional standard
  • Content writing across paid, earned, and owned channels
  • Higher level media relations – focus on top editors and feature placements
  • Day-to-day client counselling – confidence to manage all issues autonomously
  • New business proposal support – occasionally you will be asked to present
  • Regular and consistent ideas generation

Skills & experience required of the Senior Account Manager:

  • Either an experienced Account Manager seeking a step up or a newly promoted Senior Account Manger
  • General lifestyle PR experience, but food and drinks specialists will be advantageous
  • Excellent manner to motivate team but also do develop strong relationships with clients
  • Exceptional writing skills – examples of this is key
  • Commercial awareness with ability to manage budgets, time resourcing and upselling offering to increase revenue
  • Demonstrable experience developing creative PR campaigns that result in tier one coverage
  • Experience working on new business – examples of this is key

In return, the Senior Account Manager will receive:

  • Salary of up to circa £42,000, dependent on experience
