A rare opportunity for an experienced corporate PR specialist to join a fast-growing tech company as Head of PR (Maternity cover) has arisen.

In short, this company specialises in B2B lead generation, helping businesses across the world gain access to customers by using a clever tech platform and digital marketing strategies. The central function of this Head of PR (MAT COVER) role is to maintain the company’s excellent reputation, sourcing and telling stories that inspire and intrigue external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities for the Head of PR role

  • Reputation management & crisis management – working with legal department on issues that arise. Assessing and implementing strategies to mitigate reputational harm
  • Collaborating with other departments to source stories that will be of interest to media and crafting strategies around how to tell the story
  • Managing press office and pitching to media daily – proactively and reactively
  • Creating content for social media
  • Liaising with c-suite to craft stories that boost senior stakeholder profiles

Key requirements for the Head of PR role

  • Must be comfortable working autonomously without the support of junior assistance
  • Must be a media specialist with contacts across business, tech and consumer affairs
  • May come from an agency, preferably around AD / SAD level but must have corporate PR experience working with fast-growth accounts
  • May come from in-house but must be comfortable with fast-paced working environments
  • Absolutely MUST have experience working with senior stakeholders with profiling experience
  • Ideal background will be from corporate, tech or finance background

What the Head of PR gets in return:
