They’re around 600 employees worldwide and having set up in EMEA 2 years ago, have a fast growing UK team. About the Communications Manager (EMEA) role
The Communications Manager will be the sole comms person in EMEA, supported by a PR agency and the global comms team. You’ll also work closely with the strategy and marketing teams in the UK, as well as the EMEA C Suite on their Executive comms. You’ll work predominantly on external comms, setting up the function and strategy, but also have responsibility for internal comms, particularly as the EMEA team grows.
They’re looking for someone with the ability to be both strategic and hands on – as you will be the sole comms person in EMEA they need someone that’s still media facing and can develop excellent written content, but that’s also senior enough to put together comms strategy and work with the C suite. As the company continues to grow, there will be an opportunity to grow the comms team.
Key experience required:
- Circa 7-10 years' corporate communications experience in either financial services, tech or fintech (either in house or agency)
- Experience working with fast growth start ups would be hugely advantageous
- Solid contacts across relevant national and trade media
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment where flexibility and adaptability are key
The Communications Manager will be paid up to £80k and benefits include pension, private health, home office budget, an employee card with £35 loaded each month and salary extra (discounts on shopping).
