Today they work exclusively with brands positively shaping the world; developing communications strategies with an environmental and social impact focus. This is a business that prides itself on rejecting traditional PR agency structures and stereotypes – no one is judged on the number of hours they clock in, progression isn’t an obstacle, and everyone has a firm say in how the business is run. This Account Director role is a steppingstone to becoming a Head of Consumer so an exciting role with a clear trajectory.

About the Account Director Role

  • Day-to-day client servicing, acting as a key contact for any questions or concerns
  • Taking ownership of developing client comms strategies, working collaboratively with the team to deliver
  • Day to day implementation of campaigns – you’ll feel comfortable (and enjoy) media relations, social media, events and overall being hands on in the activation of campaigns
  • Networking on behalf of the agency to source new business opportunities
  • Playing an active participant in the new business pitch process including developing proposals and attending pitch meetings
  • Responsible for coaching and helping to develop more junior team members, as well as managing the output of their work

The ideal Account Director

  • An ambitious Senior Account Manager OR Account Director looking to explore new roles
  • Experience working on a broad range of consumer clients
  • Should have a passion for or experience with working on purpose-led campaigns
  • In-depth understanding of the UK media landscape and what makes a good story
  • Strong client servicing experience, with a results-oriented personality
  • Experience working on campaigns that are integrated with marketing and digital

 

What the Account Director gets in return

  • Salary circa 45-50k, depending on experience
  • 25 days holiday + a day off for your birthday excluding bank holidays
  • Early finish Fridays
