Job Description

An award-winning agency specialising in destination PR is seeking an organised and creative Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to help launch London’s newest cultural hub.

From commercial and residential properties to regeneration and development projects; and hospitality and leisure hotspots – this PR agency is comprised of placemaking experts that know how to drive excitement and interest around destinations. Its clients include developers, local authorities, retail centres, arts and culture districts, to name a few. And they offer a full service, including traditional PR (B2B B2C), digital and social content, stakeholder engagement, brand development, internal communications. The Account Manager or Senior Account Manager who joins the team will bring their creative skills and consumer lifestyle media contacts to work on an exciting new project launch.

Responsibilities of the Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

  • PR planning and development of integrated strategy (including budget consideration and KPIs)
  • Leading and managing the development of all press materials, digital and social content, events planning, press briefings, feature coverage generation, liaisons with stakeholders (retailers, bars, restaurants, brands)
  • Project managing on the development of marketing assets, collaborating with others to ensure delivery is of a high standard
  • Line managing a JAM, as well as day-to-day, delegation coaching and development
  • Managing upwards to ensure timelines are being met
  • Managing social and website content for the agency

Requirements of the Account Manager / Senior Account Manager

  • Experienced Account Manager or Senior Account Manager coming from a generalist consumer background (open to most consumer backgrounds)
  • Highly organised with a track record of project managing launches (restaurants, hotels, commercial property would be advantageous)
  • Demonstrable experience with consumer lifestyle experience with press contacts across a varied pool of media
  • Experience briefing designers to develop marketing materials
  • Experience working on integrated campaigns which include social media and paid opportunities
  • Demonstrable experience managing events
  • Commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets
  • Highly degree of organisational skills with the ability to delegate and lead a team.

What the Account Manager/ Senior Account Manager gets in return:

  • Salary of up to circa £45,000, dependent on experience
