PR & Community Manager

Fantastic opportunity to join the Estate Management team as their PR and Community Manager of a beautiful business and leisure facility in London.  They have a strong emphasis on sustainability, community involvement and providing a stunning environment in which to work.  As their talented PR & Community Manager you will be joining a team of hard working and fun people who strive to provide the gold standard of customer experience.

 

About PR Manager Role:

As PR & Community Manager your main areas of responsibility will be looking after current and prospective tenants and engaging with the wider local community.

  • Build strong relationships with both current and prospective tenants and stakeholders within the local community
  • Promote events to appeal to a wide range of people, i.e. family days, wine tasting, etc
  • Work closely with Head of Guest services, they organise these events, you promote them
  • Organise the teams’ Awards applications – help continue their winning streak!
  • Work with local businesses developing or enhancing discount schemes for tenants and workers on the site
  • Keeping the businesses and communities abreast of any developments/changes within the facility

 

95% of the events take place over the lunchtime period, there is very little requirement for you to work out of core hours.

The Ideal PR & Community Manager candidate:

Ideally their new PR & Community Manager will have experience of working within a communications team of a retail or hospitality organisation, or experience within destination PR.  Customer is certainly king and experience of dealing with this environment will certainly secure you an interview.

You will have two main areas of responsibility, looking after current and prospective tenants and engaging with the local community.

 

You will be responsible for:

 

  • Building strong relationships with both tenants, prospective tenants and stakeholders within the local community
  • Promoting events that will appeal to a wide range of people, some of these will be family days for the community and others are more targeted to the tenants, these can include wine tastings, bbq’s, seasonal events during Christmas etc .. working closely with Head of Guest Experiences who organises these events
  • Helping with the teamsAwards processes (they have won many and wish this to continue!)
  • Working with local businesses regarding discount schemes for tenants and workers on the site, increasing, developing and improving their scope
  • Keeping the businesses and communities abreast of any developments/changes within the business park
