Job Description

ACCOUNT DIRECTOR – CORPSUMER/CORPORATE – PUBLIC RELATIONS - up to £50k

The company I’m recruiting for is one of the most reputable and longest-standing UK PR agencies in the industry. It’s a recognisable top 25 name that features on every PR week league table and the client roster is equally impressive. This is a brilliant opportunity for a high energy and knowledgeable Account Director to join this agency’s growing corporate team.

Why should an Account Director apply for this role?

Firstly, you’ll get the prestige of a networked agency behind you so if you’re currently at a larger agency and enjoy the perks that come with working at this type of company, this will be a great move. Alternatively, if you’re at a boutique agency and are looking to explore what it might be like to work in a fully integrated agency with more resource, and the opportunity to work on high value, blue chip brands, this might be a welcome change. And if its benefits you’re after, this agency offers one of the most robust benefits packages in the industry that goes beyond hybrid working and performance related bonus schemes. This is a progressive and inspiring place to work, where work/life balance is respected, and development opportunities are plenty.

Salary for this role – 45-50k DOE

What is the agency looking for in the Account Director?

This role is perfect for someone who has a mix of corporate and consumer (corpsumer) experience at Senior Account Manager that has really strong client servicing experience and is able to run multiple big integrated campaigns. This is a role suited to someone who is very hands on but is commercially astute and strategic. You will need to have recent and preferably long-standing PR agency experience – this is a role that is not suited to candidate from pure in-house backgrounds. Ideally you will have worked on big complex client accounts, on a mixture of reputational, crisis, stakeholder relations and thought leadership, and be competent at this.

In conclusion…

I would love to hear from experienced Senior Account Managers or Junior Account Directors who are looking for their next challenge. You might not even be actively looking but are exploring what’s out there – I’d love to chat! Contact me – ijeomae@reuben-sinclair.com
