After excellent growth and continued client wins in 2022/23, this amazing culture-led business is currently hiring at a senior level for their Analyst / Consultant team.

 

About The Lead Energy Market Analyst Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy market economics and understand key market drivers as well as exposure to how fundamental models can be used to support decision makers operating within the markets.

Key Responsibilities for the Lead Energy Market Analyst:

  • Lead client workshops, deep dive into client requirements to prevent best-in-practice solutions
  • Lead projects to deliver energy market models and implement solutions to deliver upon customer needs
  • Help customers to analyse models and understand the outcomes, educating and advising on improvements
  • Help create proof of concept studies which demonstrate the organisations's expertise and knowledge

Essential Skills and Competencies of the Lead Energy Analyst:

  • 5+ years experience within energy markets or power trading with exposure to relevant models to help drive decisions
  • Ideally, some exposure to tools such as BID3, PLEXOS, Antaras, SDDP, PROMOD etc for energy supply and demand modelling
